Wire EDM Machined D2 Tool Steel Progressive Die for the Automotive Industry

Wire Pro manufactured these featured D2 steel progressive dies for a client in the automotive industry. Each die is used to manufacture a push rod guide plate for high-performance automotive engines. Starting with a client-supplied print, we manufactured the dies using wire EDM, ensuring we met our client's precise requirements. The final dies measured 1.500 inches in thickness with a bend angle of 90 degrees, and featured a Rockwell Hardness value of 58-62. Upon completion of the D2 steel dies and when all standards had been met, we delivered the order to our client.
